Sex Writer's Panel
Learn what it takes to be a porn star, the ins and outs of the Sex Toy Olympics, how to write articulately about your own sexual escapades, and more during Museum of Sex’s summer event series.
On Tuesday July 14, 2009 at 7:30pm, join author, artist, and alt porn star, Zak Smith, along with author Jonathan Ames and sexperimentalist Reverend Jen for a panel discussion on “writing about the sex industry.” Spanning the NYC art scene to the LA porn scene to the underground sex scene – and everything in-between -- this trio takes an unapologetic look at the inner workings of the sex industry. With a seamless blend of art, sex, humor, and honesty, the panel will tackle questions ranging from intimate encounters to hardcore extremes. Preceding the panel discussion, there will be brief readings from each author’s latest work, as well as time after the discussion for audience based Q&A.
Admission for the event is $12.00 general/$10.00 students and members.
To purchase tickets please call (212) 689 6337 x115.
