There are hundreds of descriptive words to attempt to “define” and pigeonhole sex workers, but on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 the Museum of Sex will be reinventing all of these preconceived notions, and exploring the perils, pitfalls, and pinnacles of sex work.

The Museum of Sex invites you to join us 7:00pm for a reading, discussion, and book signing with Xaviera Hollander, the legendary “Happy Hooker” and David Henry Sterry, the editor of HOS, HOOKERS, CALL GIRLS, AND RENT BOYS a new, critically-lauded sex worker anthology featuring short stories and poems from the Olympians of sex workers. The anthology has been featured on the front page of the New York Times Book Review, and includes contributions from well known sex workers such as Annie Sprinkle the art-porn priestess. With special guest stars Veronica Vera and Usherettes from Miss Vera’s Finishing School of Boys Who Want to Be Girls, this event explores the intrinsic interwoven relationships between love, sex, power, companionship, and money.
